
During the 2000 Football Season, the Lake Flyers would suffer an early season fatal blow. Offensive Linemen #68 Joe Abraham was killed in a car-train accident during the first few weeks of the season. One of Joe's dreams was to make the OHSAA State Playoffs. The Lake Flyers, made Joe's dream a reality. The Flyers would come to Huron Memorial Stadium supporting an 8-2 record. Scott Conley lead the Flyers on their "dream trip" into the playoffs. On this night, the Tigers would end the Flyers dream 20-13. It was a heavy heart evening. But one of the more memorable games in the history of Tiger football..
